The Washington DC Chapter of the Project Management Institute (PMIWDC) was formed to serve the networking and education needs of Washington DC metropolitan area residents, which includes Northern Virginia and Maryland.

With monthly meetings, professional development offerings (such as certification review courses), periodic workshops, and a monthly newsletter, the PMIWDC chapter strives to promote the profession of Project Management by and for its members, provide opportunities for project management education and the professional development of its members, and provide a framework for professional networking and social interaction among its members.

Help needed for Career Day registration! Two volunteers needed to help assist with registration at Career Day 2010 being held on September 24th. Registration will begin at 7am. You’ll have the opportunity to network with both attendees and vendors, and lunch will be provided.

Help staff the PMIWDC bookstore at the 2010 Career Day, September 24th. Respond to questions about the books and merchandise. Help process purchases and information for inventory tracking. The team will work in shifts of 1-4 hours each, and will receive complementary entrance to Career Day!
